Simon Webbe adds Strictly sparkle to Christmas at Crystal Peaks

13 November 2014

STRICTLY sparkle will add extra glitter and glamour to the Festive Season at Crystal Peaks as Simon Webbe switches on our Christmas lights!

The former Blue star and current Strictly Come Dancing favourite will be at the Centre on Thursday November 13.

The Festive fun begins at 4pm and will feature a range of musical acts including performances by young musicians from Emmanuel and Westfield School, dance exhibitions and local bands.

Hosting the whole fun-packed family event will be Hallam FM presenter and breakfast show host Big John.

And at 7pm Christmas will really get under way when Simon Webbe – currently partnering sultry pro dancer Kristina Rihanoff in the BBC Saturday evening dance hit – officially flicks the switch on a whole new Christmas light display for the shopping centre.

“We are delighted to be able to announce that Simon will be taking time out from his busy Strictly dance rehearsal schedule to join us on what is always the most exciting night of the Crystal Peaks year,” said centre manager Lee Greenwood.

“This year we have an entirely new Christmas light display for the whole complex so it seemed only right that we should go with a glittering star to perform our switch on – and they don’t get more glittery than a Strictly favourite!”
