Misty Griffiths was crowned as Sheffield’s first ever Crystal Peaks Fashionista on Saturday after battling her way through five challenges and surviving three eliminations.
Four fashionable finalists took part in the live Get Spotted final on Saturday, where they were set a number of style based challenges by style guru Nicky Hambleton Jones from Channel 4’s 10 Years Younger.
All contestants took part in a dress off and a make-over, before the first contestant, Olivia Jackson, was eliminated. The three remaining contestants were challenged to ‘Accessorise This’, before Beth Coburn was eliminated from the competition.
Leaving Melissa Wilson and Misty Griffiths to battle it out in the History of Fashion and to give speeches telling the judges why they deserved the prestigious title of Crystal Peaks Fashionista.
Ollie Hayes, Hallam fm presenter, joined Nicky Hambleton Jones and Kate Solomons on the judging panel who had the hard task choosing between the two girls who both showed a flare for fashion. But their could only be one winner.
Misty, 20, from Sheffield will become the shopping centre’s fashion blogger with a dedicated page on the centre’s website, she was also given £1,000 to spend at Crystal Peaks and a gift set from The Body Shop. The other finalists didn’t go home empty handed, runner up prizes included a make-over at The Body Shop, Topshop vouchers, £250 Dolland and Atchison vouchers, tickets to Freedom to meet the cast of Shipwreck at an exclusive VIP party and tickets to an exclusive James Morrison concert.
