Come along and have fun at our F...
Christmas officially starts at Crystal Peaks on Thursday 12th November with the special appearance of Emmerdale’s Carl King who will switch on the shopping centre’s festive lights at the big Switch On event at 6.30pm. Actor Tom Lister, who plays the bad boy soap star, will be in the centre from 6pm, so get there early to catch a glimpse! Tom Lister has also generously said that he will be donating his appearance fee to Bluebell Wood Chidlren’s hospice. Sarah Champion, Chief Executive of Bluebell Wood commented; “It is fantastic that both Crystal Peaks and Tom Lister are supporting Bluebell Wood with this event. Our charity supports families with children with life-limiting conditions in the region, and it costs £2.5 million every year to offer the service we provide, both at our hospice site and in the community. With no statutory government funding, public support is vital to our continued success.” The Christmas Grotto will also open on 12th November and will remain open throughout the Festive Season for children to come and visit Santa Claus. Times of opening will vary so please visit www.crystalpeakscentre.co.uk for more details and you can also book a place with Santa online to avoid disappointment. Lee Greenwood, Crystal Peaks shopping centre commented; “Our main focus of Christmas this year at Crystal Peaks is to make life easier for our shoppers. Christmas is always a hectic time of year and we want to ensure this Festive Season is as hassle-free as possible by offering Crystal Peaks shoppers all they need for Christmas under one roof with a complete free gift guide. There are activities for the children too with the opportunity to win Breakfast with Santa, Christmas B:Club workshop and the Christmas Grotto. The easier Christmas is, the more fun it can be – and this special appearance from Emmerdale’s favourite character Carl King is a great fun way to start the Christmas ball rolling!” For further information on the centre and details on forthcoming events visit centre’s www.crystalpeakscentre.co.uk
